The GearForce lid comes standard with gas stays optimised for opening and closing without gear on top.
If you're planning to carry bikes or other gear, you can upgrade to 15kg gas stays.
They're designed to handle the extra weight, but keep in mind that when your lid is empty you'll need to push it down to close it.
